What is the purpose of Interfaith of The Woodlands?
Initially, Interfaith acts as an “incubator” for community social services and as a “support” for new congregations. Interfaith helps individuals and families in crisis through financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, gasoline, prescription drug assistance, emergency shelter, food, clothing, senior programs and offers counseling referral, job training, and child care. Interfaith strives to bring people together to build a more loving and caring community through service.
Who can receive assistance from Interfaith of The Woodlands?
Any qualifying individual who lives in The Woodlands and South Montgomery County within the zip codes of 77380-77386, 77389 & 77375 in the Village of Creekside Park and 77354 in the Village of Sterling Ridge can receive assistance from Interfaith’s Programs and Services Department. Most programs and services are free of charge.
Where can I get The Woodlands Directory?
A copy of the Directory is available to all residents of The Woodlands and is delivered once a year. New residents within The Woodlands will be visited by our resident data department shortly after arriving. Each new resident will receive a copy of the directory along with other helpful information about Interfaith and our community. Directories may also be obtained by visiting our administrative offices at 4242 Interfaith Way. A donation of $6.00 is appreciated to help support our programs.
Does Interfaith of The Woodlands charge for borrowing wheelchairs and walkers?
No. Interfaith routinely receives donations of certain medical equipment like wheelchairs and walkers. As a means of providing a special service to the community, they are available at no charge to those who need to use them. Contact Interfaith’s Information and Referral for more information.

Interfaith of The Woodlands finances through individual contributions, corporate and business donations, and grants.
Can my financial contribution to Interfaith be tax deductible?
Yes. Interfaith of The Woodlands is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization and financial contributions may be deductible for federal income tax purposes.
