2027 Hometown Hero Nomination

The first Hometown Heroes were recognized in 1999, as part of The Woodlands 25th Anniversary celebration.

Since this time, 178 individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations have received this honor.

 Nominations are accepted for those who embody the qualities listed below, leading professional and/or public service efforts that have positively impacted and added to the quality of life of The Woodlands Community.

Nominations are independently reviewed by a committee of previously awarded Hometown Heroes.

2027 Hometown Heroes will be announced in mid-January, and officially recognized during

The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala on February 26, 2027.

Nominations will be accepted from Monday, August 3, 2026, through Friday, September 4, 2026. The nomination form will be available for download on this page beginning August 3, 2026.
