Interfaith of The Woodlands Announces Best Dressed Competition at The 2023 The Walk The Woodlands.
THE WOODLANDS, TX (Tuesday, June 13, 2023) — Interfaith of The Woodlands announces a Best Dressed Competition, a fun and exciting addition to the evening of The Walk fundraising event. The competition is generously sponsored by Woodforest National Bank. The Walk The Woodlands, the highly anticipated fashion for a cause event, will be held on Saturday, August 26, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center from 6pm to midnight.
The Best Dressed Competition is set to be one of the highlights of the evening. Attendees are invited to participate or nominate someone, for a chance to win the coveted title of Best Dressed 2023. On the evening of the event, guests can enter the competition or nominate a friend or acquaintance by making a $100 donation. Each dollar raised beyond the initial donation will represent one vote. The competition will be broadcast in real-time throughout most of the evening, and guests will be able to see the nominee’s outfits, vote, and track everything online conveniently through their phone. At the end of the program, the individual with the most votes will be named Best Dressed 2023. The winner will have the privilege of deciding which Interfaith program the funds raised from the competition will support, making a direct and positive impact on the community. But that’s not all – the winner will also receive a surprise from the committee, adding an extra element of excitement to the occasion.
The Walk The Woodlands is an event with a purpose. All proceeds raised go towards supporting our neighbors in need and the invaluable programs and services provided by Interfaith of The Woodlands. This year, the event will recognize eight outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the Montgomery County region. These Community Champions, Will Bonilla, Erin Doré, George Lindahl, Michelle Little, Julie Mayrant, Heather Sanford, Chef Austin Simmons and Tony Torres, have not only excelled in their professional endeavors but have also made a profound impact through their personal commitments to the community.
