2025 Hometown Hero Nomination

The first Hometown Heroes were recognized in 1999, as part of The Woodlands 25th Anniversary celebration. Since this time, over 160 individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations have received this honor.

Nominations are accepted for those who embody the qualities listed below, leading professional and/or public service efforts that have positively impacted and added to the quality of life of The Woodlands Community.

Nominations are independently reviewed by a committee of previously awarded Hometown Heroes.

2025 Hometown Heroes will be announced in November, and officially recognized during The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala on Friday, February 28, 2025.

  • Nominations accepted beginning Monday, August 5, 2024, through Friday, September 6, 2024.
